Mixing is the stage in audio-production after tracking that consists of combining multiple tracks of audio into a single mono, stereo, or surround sound mix. The levels on all the different tracks are adjusted and different effects are applied to make the final mix sound exactly how it should. After the mix is done, it’s sent on to be mastered.
